The materials you provide are often a direct result of the activities the Makerspace with be focusing on.  A great place to start is by looking at what is already available within the school such as glue, paper, scissors, cardboard boxes and computers.  If your budget is tight, you can ask for donations from families of scraps from home including fabric, buttons, old magazines, old electronic equipment, tennis balls, containers, old phones, scrap wood or even Lego.  If you have a larger budget or wish to extend the activities available in your Makerspace, purchasing some of the following might be a good option:
